When you're ready to turn your idea into a real product, visuals are your best friend. The Upload Your Designs tab in the Creator Dashboard is where you give our AI the visual fuel it needs to understand exactly what you're picturing. Don't worry, you absolutely do not need to be a professional designer or have a perfect drawing to get started. Far from it!
Giving the AI Your Visual Cues
Think of this section as building a visual collage for your product. The more context you provide, the closer our AI gets to nailing your vision on the first try. You've got a few different ways to get your ideas across.
You can upload reference images directly from your computer. These can be anything! Photos you took of a similar product, images from a mood board you put together, or even screenshots of details you love. The key here is variety. If you're designing a backpack, for example, try to upload photos of the front, the back, the side, and maybe even an inside shot. The more angles the AI can see, the better it can grasp the product's three-dimensional shape and construction. A simple sketch drawing works wonders, too—even a quick doodle on a napkin that you snap with your phone can provide a fantastic starting point for the overall silhouette.
If you have your ideas collected in a document, the PDF scan option is perfect for uploading entire pages of inspiration at once. And for those moments when you find the perfect example online, you can use the URL scrape feature. Just paste the link, and our platform will pull in the visual information for you. It’s all about making it easy to show us what you’re thinking.
Using Your Asset Library
Your Asset Library is your personal, reusable collection of brand-specific elements. This is where you store the things that make your product uniquely yours. You can upload files for your brand's logo, specific print designs or patterns you want to use, and even photos of particular fabric samples, materials, or components (like a special kind of zipper or button).
Think of it as your digital toolbox. When you add these assets, you're telling the AI, "Don't just make a t-shirt; make my t-shirt, with my logo right here and using a fabric that looks like this." It’s an incredibly powerful way to ensure brand consistency and get the technical details just right without having to describe them from scratch every single time. It's a real time-saver.
You Don't Need Perfect Technical Drawings
Let's be crystal clear about this: you do not need a CAD file or a professionally drafted sketch to use Genpire. In fact, that's the whole point. Our platform was built to bridge the gap between a creative idea and the factory-ready technical specifications needed to produce it.
Your hand sketches, reference photos, and detailed descriptions are more than enough. The AI is designed to interpret that creative input and translate it into a precise tech pack that a manufacturer can understand and work from. So, bring your ideas, however rough they may be, and let the platform handle the technical heavy lifting.

Can I upload just one image?
You sure can. One good image is a great starting point, especially if it clearly shows the main features of your product. That said, uploading multiple images from different angles almost always gives you a more accurate and detailed result.
What if I don't have any images at all?
No problem at all! The "Upload Your Designs" tab is a powerful tool, but it's not a requirement. You can create a fantastic product by relying entirely on the "Describe Your Product" tab, where you can detail your idea using text.
How does the URL scrape work?
It's pretty slick. You just find a webpage that has an image of a product, a style, or a detail you want to use as inspiration. Copy that page's web address (the URL), paste it into the URL scrape field, and our AI will analyze the visuals on that page to help inform your design.
